"The reason for this was that they had just about everything we wanted, which is the way I wanted to go so I would not have to become an expert on multiple brands of equipment. But more than that was the fact that Life Fitness was the only company they really seemed to be interested in us. The others I listed above just sent pictures and web links. Not one person ever called or showed up on our campus to try and sell us their product. I can honestly say that Life Fitness did everything they could to get us to get the above companies to send us demo equipment so we could compare products and we would see that Life Fitness has the top of the line commercial equipment. Not many companies would do that.
Another major selling point for AEE was the factory tour! If you get the opportunity to take a Life Fitness factory tour with them you must do it. You will see the quality of their products and the people that build those products! Their assembly line employees take a lot of pride in what they produce. Also during the factory tour you get to see their testing area where they test their products to failure and then break them down to see what parts failed so they know what part to design better. You will see the engineer design team and how they design their products to last longer and have a more natural body range of motion.
Last but definitely not least; their product is made here in the USA and their service is impeccable. The few times we have needed replacement parts, the parts are here within a few days so our equipment is never out of service for an extended period of time. Their repair technicians know the equipment, so they are in and out in no time and we are back online. My experience with Life Fitness and Advanced Exercise Equipment is that they care about the businesses that buy their equipment. They are constantly checking on me asking on how things are going and for input on the equipment.
